I consider myself your personal wellness advocate, authenticity and confidence coach. When people think health, they think food! Its so much more than that! I love to help woman see their potential and unlock their health and healing journey. It is a beautiful path to be on.
When I don't have my head buried in books or listening podcasts, I enjoy grounding myself in nature wether it be hiking, meditating or getting out on the water. I fill my cup by spending quality time with friends and loved ones and destress by getting in a good sweat session in the gym or at home. I enjoy staying up to date with latest health research and find myself on the internet for hours reading studies and looking for natural health alternatives. I have a curious mind, and I believe that led me to where I am today in my own health journey. When I felt like crap I took my health into my own hands and realized healing came from within and what I was taking in. This not only goes for food but information, thoughts, media and those I surrounded myself with.
7 years ago I revolutionized my diet and lifestyle, throwing out everything bad in my pantry and hiring a trainer to show me the ropes of the gym (I had a membership for a year before I actually started going). It turns out I love working out and eating healthy was not that difficult. I've been on a path of health and healing since then. I'm grateful for that day, for that change I made, and how I've been able to help others on their own journey.
I get asked this question frequently. After going on an elimination diet I discovered a lot of foods were breaking me out, causing me to bloat and giving me terrible brain fog and fatigue! As a result I am gluten dairy free, soy free and corn free. One would think cooking would challenging with these restrictions, but I find I still have so much freedom. I share my favorite recipes with you guys on this site. And bonus... they are safe for most allergies!
I shop local when I can and love visiting the farmers market to get free range chicken and organic veggies. I make sure I always have food available by meal prepping every week, trying a new recipe every time! Cooking is a form of self care and I turn on my favorite podcasts, music or a movie in the background to spice it up!
